Riverbed Wins Strategic Customers in Korea, Further Enhancing Its Leadership Position in Wide Area Data Services (WDS) Market

SAN FRANCISCO-(Business Wire)-December 13, 2006 - Riverbed Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq:RVBD), the performance leader in wide area data services, announced today that the Korean Ministry of Labor and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade have purchased and successfully deployed Riverbed's award-winning Steelhead(R) appliances to improve application performance over wide area networks (WANs). In addition, strategic Korean customers LG Electronics, Samsung Electronics, SK Shipping and Asiana Airlines have chosen Riverbed to enable collaboration between remote sites, consolidate IT infrastructure, accelerate application performance or improve data protection.

Korean reseller Comtec Information is the latest reseller to join the Riverbed Partner Network.
